Seasoned traveler and photographer with the unquenchable desire to explore, I am always on the hunt for new adventures and experiences that can take me to new places, interact with different people and cultures, observe exotic wildlife or anything out of the ordinary to me.
Over the years I have travelled the length and breadth of Europe, countries such as Ireland, United Kingdom, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Netherlands, Germany, Spain and the Canary Islands, Poland and Serbia to name a few. Each of these journeys have been immersive experiences where I could witness distinct traditions and cultures which I have thoroughly enjoyed.
While in India I continue to explore places across North, West and South regions which include heritage cities, wildlife parks, archaeological sites, museums, cultural sites, monuments, explored and unexplored historical sites, hill stations, participate in treks and mountaineering expeditions, and so on.
Moreover, a biker at heart, over the years I have completed numerous short and long motorcycling tours across India on my much beloved Royal Enfield Classic 500cc.
In 2015, I accomplished my basic course in Mountaineering from the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi and also hold a certification in outdoor medical emergency response.
Couple of years ago I used to run an adventure travel company: Wanderkart, through which I lead multiple explorations across India for both local and overseas travelers.
This blog is an amalgamation of all my excursions, travels and adventures, a platform to showcase my photography and also a journal where I collate useful information to plan for my future travels which may also help fellow explorers with usable information to plan their own ventures.
My base camp is currently at Gurgaon, India from where I continue to work on my explorations, balancing between family time, professional responsibilities and my longing lust to just travel.
